The White Rock Home Tour was founded in 2006 by a group of dedicated Hexter parents who beautifully combined their love of Mid-Century Modern architecture with their commitment to supporting Hexter Elementary in Old Lake Highlands. What began as a passion project has grown into a celebrated community tradition.
The tour honors the untold stories of two visionary Dallas architects from the 1950s whose innovative mid-century designs helped shape the northeast side of White Rock Lake. Their architectural legacy continues to define the character and charm of our neighborhood.
This year, we are proud to showcase six remarkable homes, each offering a distinct glimpse into the brilliance of mid-century and modern design. Excitingly, for the first time ever, the tour will feature three Ju-Nel homes — a rare and special highlight you won’t see on any other tour.
Beyond the homes themselves, the White Rock Home Tour brings together a vibrant community of design enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty of our neighborhood and believe in supporting the thriving schools that enrich it.
