What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day is Communities Foundation of Texas's largest community event and the largest regional giving initiative in the Nation.

Thanks to the support of Communities Foundation of Texas, donors, and sponsors, 100% of online donations made through NorthTexasGivingDay.org go directly to nonprofits year‑round, with all transaction and technology fees covered.

North Texas Giving Day 2026 will officially open on Thursday, August 27, and culminate on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

While Giving Day is the high-point of the year, NorthTexasGivingDay.org is open year‑round, allowing donors to support nonprofits and nonprofits to fundraise well beyond the September event.

Why is NTGD so important for Hexter?

At Hexter Elementary, our PTA helps provide the resources and opportunities that allow more than 500 students, teachers, and staff to thrive. As a Title I school serving a large and diverse community, we know that the resources available through federal and district funding alone cannot meet every need on our campus.

That’s where our PTA makes a difference.

Through the generosity of our parents, families, and community, the Hexter PTA raises funds that are invested directly back into our school. These dollars help fill important gaps and support the programs, supplies, and experiences that make a meaningful difference for our students and teachers.

PTA-funded support includes student tutoring, literacy initiatives, our Hexter Mindfulness Program, Hexter Garden Program, STEM Nights, special guest speakers, teacher classroom and specials supplies, and essential campus needs such as water filters, janitorial supplies, and playground improvements.

When you give to the Hexter PTA for North Texas Giving Day, you aren't simply donating to an organization. You are helping fund the people, programs, resources, and improvements that directly benefit our children and their teachers.
